Jupiter, planet of knowledge and protection, is in pada (part) three of Punarvasu, in the zodiacal sign of Gemini from May 14th to June 1st 2026.

This is Jupiter’s third transit through this nakshatra pada over the last twelve months, with its previous stay coming from December 2025 to early January 2026, while in retrograde motion.  Now moving forward, Jupiter may bring resolution to an issue from that time, and the real-world promise of an opportunity should become clear. You are adjusting to being in a wider world and have a satisfying feeling of leaving the mundane behind. You can make a radical career or relationship change in a smoother way, and support from a friend or teacher should be available to ease your transition.

Jupiter has an affinity with Punarvasu’s adventurous and inquisitive nature, symbolised by a Quiver of Arrows, and its Shakti, or unique gift, of Renewal. Pada three of these asterisms also relate to Gemini navamsha, the sub-chart of marriage and good fortune, where Jupiter has extra underlying strength. There is no contrast between Jupiter’s zodiacal position and its navamsha placement, and you can put all your focus in one direction. A relationship at this point becomes a meeting of minds, where you demand that your partner be as questioning and mentally open as you.

Jupiter transiting with Venus enhances your affection and openness, though there can be a mixed message over whether you are lovers or simply friends. This is a good time to study and perhaps play the guru figure for each other, or you renew your romantic life while in education or on a mind-expanding foreign trip.
