Lord Krishna's birth is associated with Rohini Nakshatra, which falls in Taurus - the sign where the Moon is exalted in Vedic astrology.

The Moon represents our mind, emotions, inner peace, nourishment, mother, and longevity. For this reason, worshipping Lord Krishna is a beautiful remedy for strengthening the positive qualities associated with the Moon.

The Sri Krishna Homa will invoke Lord Krishna through sacred mantras and offerings into the Homa fire.

Why Janmashtami is significant

Krishna's birth represents the appearance of divine consciousness when darkness and adharma have become dominant.
