Mars, the planet of assertion and energy, enters the nakshatra of Magha in the sign of Leo from November 12th to December 19th, 2026.

This transit ends Mars’s debilitation in Cancer and gives you a different approach and new dynamism after a period of shifting energy and uncertain resolve. Magha is the essential Leo nakshatra where the royal planet Mars has an affinity, and you have willpower and a flamboyant approach that inspires others to follow you. This nakshatra’s name translates to ‘The Great’ or ‘Mighty,’ and Mars gives you big career plans, where you are influential in the company and appeal to a powerful boss or backer.

Magha also represents the heart, which pumps and provides, and is symbolized by a royal Throne-Room, which represents its high aspirations. You are generous and supportive to your friends and can fight effectively on someone else’s behalf, with a sense of royal patronage. The conventional and traditional at work are your usual avenues, and you may wish to promote your family name in an ambition that stands the test of time.

The New Moon of December 9th receives Mars’s fiery impact, and a recently thought-up plan comes together quickly in a competitive environment. Mars also exchanges signs with the all-powerful Sun up to December 16th, which gives you added purpose and authority. You can assert yourself effectively, and a plan comes together with the assistance of someone in a high position.

This is also a good time for your creative efforts, where a touch of the dramatic inspires others and gets the best out of your team.
