Jupiter is in Leo from Oct 31, 2026, to Jan 24, 2027, giving a break from its transit through exaltation in Cancer and providing a preview of its full transit through Leo after June 2027.

Jupiter in the sign of its friend, the Sun, expresses itself flamboyantly and sees you making a big gesture. You take pride in your specialist field and may attempt an ambition that takes dramatic flair. Jupiter is conjunct shadowy Ketu, the planet of liberation, in Leo up to December 5th.

This is a spiritual combination for both academic study and direct experience, where you are an outstanding student and make a breakthrough in yoga and meditation. Your beliefs and choice of academic subject may be offbeat, with a focus on psychology and helping people. It may also be time to let go of attachment to outdated views and to ground yourself in psychic security rather than possessions or a relationship.

Jupiter and Ketu are also joined by dynamic Mars in Leo from November 12th, which accents a fiery, action-oriented quality and sees you breaking new ground. Mars’s confidence and competitiveness see you reaching for what you want and expressing yourself in style. This is a fiery, outward combination with Jupiter, where your extrovert style adds a spark to any project, and you can go the extra mile.

Be careful of overconfidence, however, especially if you are jumping into action like exercise, driving, or physical work, where your concentration may waver. Jupiter shifts into retrograde motion on December 12th, where you take a different approach to a long-range study or travel plan. Plans in their seed form are expressed more fully when Jupiter returns into Leo by late June 2027.
