Mars, planet of assertion and energy, entered the nakshatra of Magha in the sign of Leo from June 6th to 30th, 2025.

This transit ends Mars’s long stay in Cancer, going back to October 2024, and gives you a different approach and new dynamic energy after months of back-and-forth. Magha is the essential Leo nakshatra, where the royal planet Mars has an affinity, and you have willpower and a flamboyant approach that inspires others to follow you.

This nakshatra’s name translates to ‘The Great’ or ‘mighty’, and Mars gives you big career plans, where you are influential in the company and perhaps find a powerful boss or backer. Mars Conjunct Ketu & Opposing Rahu

Ketu, the Moon’s South Node, and Mars, the planet of action and competition, come together in Leo from June 7th to July 28th, 2025. During this time Mars (in Leo) will be opposite Rahu (in Aquarius).

You have ego invested in your fighting and leadership ability, though you may take a leisurely approach to work that only engages fully when there is great demand. The doubly fiery nature of this transit finds you inwardly driven, yet you may also struggle to identify the exact thing you are pursuing. Ketu is a symbolically headless, blind creature, and you can easily become frustrated and angry from obscure emotions that come from inside you. It’s essential to operate to an overall plan and not spend all your energy moving about for no good purpose.

Your concentration can easily slip, or negative impulses arising from the past can spill out and affect you in a distracting way.

Be careful when exercising and driving, or using sharp or heavy machinery. These two planets enter the sign of Leo from opposite ends and move gradually closer to each other until they meet directly from July 21st to 25th, when this transit is at its height.
