At home, place a deity idol or image (or someone/something sacred to you) as the central point. |

Walk clockwise around it, taking slow, deliberate steps: |

Then bring your left foot forward, placing your left heel right in front of the toes of your right foot. |

Now move your right foot again, placing its heel in front of your left toes. |

Continue like this - each foot gently stepping in front of the other, heel to toe. |

Stay silent throughout and keep your awareness on the divine. |

You may begin with this Sanskrit prayer, and continue silently with any mantra you love: |

Meaning: O Lord, with each step I take in this sacred circle, may the sins and burdens of this life and past lives be dissolved.
