When Saturn is in retrograde it’s our second chance to set things right. If we had failed in certain aspects of life during its transit in Aquarius so far now is the time to make sure we get it right! Retrograde Saturn is in no hurry, so it will give us plenty of time to master it’s lessons before we can move ahead.

  1. Saturn represents darkness, while the Sun symbolizes light. When there is light, darkness cannot exist. Therefore, honoring the Sun is one of the best remedies for Saturn. Try looking at the Sun every morning and chanting the mantra, “Om Ghrini Tvastr Aditya,” a few times. Tvastr is the Aditya (solar deity) governing the sign of Aquarius.
  2. The 8-walk or infinity walk is a beneficial practice, especially when done on Saturdays. We have published a blog post with detailed instructions on how to perform this ritual. You can find more information here.
  3. Aquarius is considered the natural ‘badhak’ (obstacle) sign in the zodiac. Honor the form of Lord Ganesha connected to Aquarius by chanting the mantra “Gajapataye Namah.” This will remove all obstacles and ensure success in all your endeavors.
  4. Planting trees is one of the most effective remedies for Saturn in Aquarius. Choose to plant a tree associated with the nakshatra (lunar mansion) of Saturn in your chart. The align27 app offers detailed information about the specific type of tree you should plant and the optimal day for planting it, all based on your birth chart.
