Sun and Mercury create Budhaditya Yoga, a combination of study, public speaking and business acumen, which you put to your advantage. The Sun in a friendly sign favours a philosophical approach and seeing your situation from a broader point of view. Mercury, however, prefers facts and details, so you need to focus on the fine print in a negotiation and try to iron out any flaws in your plans. A flash of pure inspiration arrives and you may only work out the technical side after the fact. Try to avoid making any issue solely a matter of opinion, however.
A teacher or educational authority appreciates your flair for a subject, and you can promote yourself as a knowledge leader and mentor figure. You can teach a subject very well, from a technical and practical standpoint. Mercury, the planet of the mind, comes together in Sagittarius with the Mercury, the planet of the mind, comes together in Capricorn with the Sun, the star of self-expression, from January 24th to February 11th, 2025.
Together, these planets create conditions for study and clear communication, in the form of Budhaditya Yoga, which also favours general intelligence and business and commercial skills. You can be a thought leader, work steadily and produce work that stands the test of time. The Sun is not most at home in Capricorn, and you may need to put aside the purely ego-driven desire for a bigger responsibility in an effort where credit is slow to arrive. Mercury, however, gives you mental stamina and you favour well-grounded ideas that are supported by authority.
Capricorn is also a sign of leadership, where you run with an idea and innovate without waiting for input or permission from others. This conjunction comes together most closely from February 7th to 11th, when your outlook may be rather narrow and subjective, and it’s useful to listen to an outside view from a friend. Don’t identify too closely with your opinions at this point, and a big personality close to you may be influential or intimidating. The impact of fiery Mars gives you a competitive streak, where you defend your beliefs against criticism and misunderstanding.

Rahu, Venus Conjunction (in Pisces) ~ Deep romantic karma
Venus, the planet of love and art, is conjunct with shadowy Rahu in Pisces, from January 28th to May 18th 2025.
This extended planetary pairing includes Venus’s retrograde arc between March 2nd to April 13th, and altogether affects the way you relate to people and what you want from your partner. You become romantically restless and unpredictable and seek extra stimulation from a foreign or perhaps forbidden source. Staying within your usual limits seems complacent, and a tempting offer arises from an exotic and charismatic personality who doesn’t play by the rules. This scenario may appear harmless at first, but be careful of entering into a connection that affects all areas of your life.
Venus at its most powerful in Pisces is highly romantic and sensual, an effect which Rahu takes to another level, and you may underestimate the impact of a love affair at this point. Rahu also has a karmic dimension, as an extreme or even dangerous liaison teaches you the transforming nature of attachment. This transit combines fantasy and illusion, where your wishes may be insatiable, and jealousy and possessiveness become overwhelming, especially from February 1st to 7th.
