Ketu, the planet of mystery and liberation, is in Ashlesha pada (part) four, within the sign of Cancer, from December 5th, 2026, to February 6th, 2027.

This portion of Ashlesha falls in Pisces Navamsha, ruled by Jupiter, which shows high spiritual potential and a focus on dissolution and surrender. You feel a strong pull toward mysticism and service-oriented spiritual paths, where you explore healing, hidden knowledge, and psychological insight, all in a refined way. Your ultimate goal is surrender and dissolution, not ultimate control or even worldly influence.

This is also the Gandanta zone – the turbulent water-to-fire junction between Cancer and Leo that gives a karmically-charged quality, where your actions and decision-making are uncertain. Ashlesha is the Serpent Nakshatra, ruled by The Nagas, guardians of celestial treasure, which shows deep wisdom accumulated across past lives. You are highly sensitive to hidden dynamics – power plays and unspoken agreements – and your central challenge lies in atmosphere and undercurrents.

Pisces Navamsha adds emotional absorbency and compassion to your instincts, but at the risk of prioritizing others’ needs over your own. In relationships, Ashlesha’s clinging style sees you giving without expectation of return, but your detachment can also mask a spiritual exhaustion you may be unaware of. There is a balance between self-defense and struggle, with tension between wanting closeness and fearing deep commitment.

You gravitate towards scientific research, medicine, psychology, healing arts, astrology, and occult study. Ketu merging closely with Jupiter in Cancer by January 25th, 2027, gives you greater strength, where difficult paths and relationships are smoothed out, and you have potential access to hidden wealth. This is an excellent time for spiritual growth, where a difficult or obscure subject becomes clearer, perhaps under the guidance of an inspiring guru figure.
